#8 Rollins to Face Top Seeded Fairmont State Wednesday.

The seeds were announced for the 2017 Elite Eight in Sioux Falls, South Dakota after the conclusion of the East Regional. The teams are reseeded after each regional is complete. Rollins (24-10) is the #8 seed and will take on top seed Fairmont State (32-2) on Wednesday at 1 PM Eastern time at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Fairmont State won the Atlantic Region with a 86-80 win over Wheeling Jesuit in the final on Tuesday night. The Fighting Falcons only two losses came to West Liberty, including a 67-65 loss in the Mountain East Conference Championship Game. Fairmont State is in the Elite Eight for the second time in school history. They were #3 in the last poll of the regular season.
  Rollins (24-10) has won 11 straight- after winning the Sunshine State Conference Tournament the Tars beat No.2 Valdosta State in overtime- #3 Delta State and then won the South Region crown by knocking off Alabama-Huntsville at Spragins Hall.
