Rollins Battles #16 PBA On Senior Day, Home Finale

 The Rollins College Tars (13-13 7-11 SSC) have an uphill climb to qualify for the Sunshine State Conference tournament with two games remaining in the regular season. On Saturday, which is also Senior day and the home finale at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center the Tars will take on #16 Palm Beach Atlantic (21-4 13-4 SSC.) Rollins has lost three straight and is coming off a 95-84 loss to Barry on Wednesday. Jah Nze paced the Tars with 27 points while Omar Figeroa added 20. Rollins shot 50.7 percent from the field, 26.9 percent (7-26) from the 3-point line, and 56.3 percent (9-16) from the free throw line in the loss. Rollins scores 82.1 points per game (8th SSC) and allows 76.2 points per game (2nd SSC.) Rollins shoots 46.9 percent from the field (4th SSC,) 34.9 percent from the 3-point line (7th SSC,) and 73.7 percent (4th SSC) from the free throw line.  In the first meeting in January Jackson Gaffney led Rollins with 18 points, Nze had 17, and Figueroa 14 in the 87-70 loss. Rollins shot 35.6 percent from the field, 26.5 percent (9-34) from the 3-point line, and 82.6 percent (19-23) from the free throw line in the losing effort. 

 PBA was led by Graham Worland with 25. Blake Wilson had 21, and Tumblin had 18. PBA shot 55 percent from the field, 27.3 percent (6-22) from the 3-point line, and 75 percent (15-20) from the free throw line in the win.
