Rollins Returns Home Seeking Sweep of Barry

 The Rollins College Tars (13-12 7-10 SSC) return to the friendly confines of Winter Park as they take on the Barry Buccaneers (13-11 8-8 SSC.) Rollins currently sits in 8th place in the SSC (top eight teams qualify for the SSC tournament.) Rollins has three games remaining in the regular season.  Rollins is coming off a tough 88-81 loss at the University of Tampa on Saturday. Mayson Quartlebaum and Jah Nze led the way with 21 points. Omar Figeuroa added 17, and Ricky Gedhini tallied 11. Rollins shot 50 percent from the field, 31 percent (9-29) from the 3-point line, and 80 percent (24-30) from the free throw line in the loss. The Tars won the rebounding battle 31-26 but had 19 costly turnovers as opposed to 14 assists in defeat. Rollins scores 82 points per game (7th SSC) while they give up 75.5 points per night (2nd SSC.)  Barry is coming off a 78-68 win over Saint Leo on Saturday. Marko Sarenac led the Bucs with 25 while Malik Stanley added 17. Barry shot 42.9 percent from the field, 25.9 percent (7-27) from the 3-point line, and 72.4 percent (21-29) from the free throw line. Barry scores 81.8 points per game (8th SSC) while they give up 78.5 points per night (4th SSC.) The Buccaneers shoot 44.6 percent from the field (7th SSC,) 33.8 percent from the 3-point line (9th SSC,) and 74.,2 percent from the free throw line (2nd SSC.) They have a -1.71 turnvoer margin (8th SSC) and are +1.16 in assist to turnover ratio (8th SSC.) They dish out 16.13 assists per game (8th SSC.)  In the first meeting in Miami Shores in January Rollins was a 79-69 winner. Nze poured in a game high 31 points, Figueroa added 17, and Jackson Gaffney scored 10. Rollins shot 46.2 percent from the field, 26.3 percent (5-19) from the 3-point line, and 78.8 percent (26-33) from the free throw line in the win. 

 In a losing effort Perry led the Bucs with 29, Sarenak had 16 to go along with 13 rebounds, and Jose Benitez added 10. Barry shot 54 percent from the field, 27.3 percent (6-22) from the 3-point line, and 60 percent (9-15) at the free throw line.
