Five Up:
1. Little did they know it at the time, but the Tars started out the season with the two best wins of the season when they defeated Clark-Atlanta and Paine in the SSC/SIAC Cross Over
2. Alex Blessig broke the Rollins single game record with nine 3-pointer's in a 88-85 overtime win over Nova Southeastern at the "Shark Tank" on 2/18
3. Jeff Merton had a superb Freshman Year, just missing out on the SSC Freshman Of The Year award. Merton averaged 10+points and 5+ rebounds per night and improved tremendously from game to game
4. Chris Uhle broke the Rollins all time blocked shots mark
5. The Tars continued to play great defense and were second in the league in points per game allowed (despite the offense having a rough year.)
Five Down:
1. The Tars missed post season play completely for the first time in school history. (Coming in ninth place and only eight SSC teams made the conference tournament.)
2. Rolllins got off to the worst start ever in SSC play. Rollins went 0-11 in conference play before defeating Eckerd February 14th to gain a first conference win.
3. The Tars had the second worst offense in the SSC
4. The Tars could not win a close game in conference play. Of the first six defeats in conference play, none were by more than single digits.
5. Sharif Almulla and James Ferrell each had the season come to an end early due to injury. Almulla missed the last two games after taking a hard fall and Ferrell broke his hand in practice costing him most of the second half of the conference season.
