Where Are They Now? Nick Wolf

Nick Wolf's ability to get to the free throw line at will, sharp shooting and winning ways made him one of (if not the) best player in Rollins College basketball history.
  The guard/forward from Cincinnati St.Xavier High School was a two-time Sunshine State Conference Player Of The Year (2009 and 2011.)
 He tied Nate Rusbosin for the most wins ever in Rollins College history.  He was a first team All-American in 2009. Nick had a couple of uncle's who could vouch for what a special place Rollins was.  Jeff, Dan and David Wolf each are members of the Rollins Hall Of Fame.
 Wolf had plenty of positive things to say about his time at Rollins.
"My time at Rollins was one of the best experiences of my life."
When I got there as a freshman the school had a long history of success especially right before I got there."
  After finishing up his undergrad degree at Rollins, Wolf had one more year to finish at the Crummer School of Business.  This is when he decided to take a year off of academics and play basketball professionally in Spain.  Wolf lived in Madrid for one year and played for a team in the LEB Silver League called Las Rozas Madrid.
  Initially Wolf had a hard time with the transition but he adjusted well.
Wolf said:
"In Spain I did not know anybody at first, not knowing the language was tough but enough players on the team knew a decent amount of English so it wasn't so bad. Just adjusting to the style of play and the culture was difficult.  Hard to explain the different style of play.  I guess just being in sync with my teammates.  Seemed to be a different rhythm of the game over there but the competition was great."
said Wolf:

Wolf now lives in Denver.  After graduating from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins  he worked as an intern at an investment advisory company on Park Avenue in Winter Park called DePrince, Race and Zollo.  DRZ is led by John Race who is a big Rollins College booster.  The company which manages institutional money has also employed former Tars basketball players such as Zach Pancratz and Nate Rusbosin.  Wolf was an analyst for DRZ.  They have a number of funds or strategies where they invest money (mainly stocks.)  So when he worked at DRZ Wolf focused mainly on oil and gas stocks (research and financial analysis that were contained in one of there portfolios.)  He also performed analysis on names being considered to be added to the DRZ portfolio.
  Wolf after moving to Denver took a job at a oil and a gas company called Newfield Exploration.  He worked there for about a year and is currently interviewing for a few jobs as an equity analyst.
  So Wolf pretty much sums up his time at Rollins like this:
" And that pretty much translates into how Rollins influenced where I am right now.  The relationships I built at Rollins gave me the chance to work at a place like DePrince, Race and Zollo.  From there I got the opportunity to move to Denver and work at a great company like Newfield Exploration.  I always try to stay in touch with the people I met at Rollins and hope to do so in the future."
