The Tars (9-1) are coming off a tough 67-62 loss to Eckerd, in a game they controlled much of the way.  They went 24-55 from the field and shot 27 percent from the 3-point line in the loss.  Deion Clark led the Tars with 21 points in the game.  Sharif Almulla added 13- while Mike Bedulskis had 12.

Almulla leads the Tars in scoring (17.6 points per game-) Jeff Merton adds 15.3 a contest- while Clark rounds out the double digit scorers at 10.7 a night. James Ferrell leads the team in assists at 4.5 per game- while Bedulskis grabs nearly five rebounds a contest.
The Texans (8-1) have reeled off four straight wins, after a brief stay at #1 in the country earlier this season.  They are strong at both ends of the floor. As evidenced by the fact they average 86.7 points a night- while they allow 66.4 on the defensive end.
