Rollins Wraps Up Home Stand Wednesday.

The Rollins College Tars (3-0) coming off a hard fought 75-67 overtime win over Webber International Monday, will wrap up a three game home stand Wednesday when they welcome Puerto Rico Rio Piedras (0-1) to Warden Arena for a noon tip.
 The Tars come into the contest perfect on the young season. Jeremy Sharpe leads the way averaging 15 points a game. The Senior from Saint Louis scored seven  of his 22 points points in the extra session on Monday. Sharpe also is averaging 5.7 rebounds a game. Three other Tars come into today's contest averaging double figures. Myk Brown is tallying 12.3 points a contest while Dave Diakite puts up 11.3 a game. Chris Malcolm rounds out the double digit scorers, he is averaging a near double-double with 10.7 points and 9.3 rebounds a contest.
 The Gallitos (0-1) lost their season opener 97-79 at the hands of Florida Southern Saturday. Hector Maldanado led the way with 26 points for Piedras. Josseph Vegerano and  Angel Acevedo each put up 17 points for UPRP in the opener. The Gallitos shot 44 percent for the game but went 7 of 26 from the three point line.
