Tars Face First Road Test Wednesday.

The Rollins College Tars (2-1) will head to Rubin Arena in Palm Beach for the first road game of the young season on Wednesday evening.
  The Tars come in off a two game sweep of the Puerto Rican schools, and should be fresh after a seven day Thanksgiving break. The Tars fell to Warner University in the opener before the sweep over Puerto Rico Bayamon and Rio Piedras. A pair of Tars are scoring in double figures on the young season. Dave Diakite (13.0 ppg) and Brett Chance (11.7 ppg) lead Rollins. Kyle McClanahan leads the Tars in minutes played at 31 a night.  McClanahan averages 8.7 points, five rebounds and 5.3 assists a game.  Mitch Woods has been the Tars best shooter early on. The transfer from Appalaichain State is putting up 9.7 points a game. Woods is shooting 58 percent from the field and a red hot seven of nine from the 3-point line.
  The Sailfish come in with a record of 1-4 on the season. PBA has already played a pair of opponents from the Sunshine State conference. The Sailfish won 72-71 versus Lynn but fell to Tampa 85-74. Wednesday's game will be the home opener for the Sailfish. Three players average double figures on the young season for PBA. Marcus Hardy leads the way at 20.8 a night, to go along with eight rebounds and four blocks a contest. Dante Valentine is  scoring 17.7 per game while Christian Martinez scores 16 a game.
