The Rollins College Tars will open the 2012-13 season with an exhibition game at Wake Forest on Friday evening at 7 PM.
The contest will be the first and only exhibition game for the Tars this season. Rollins is coming off a disappointing 16-11 campaign a year ago. Dave Diakite is the top returning scorer for the Tars at 10.2 points per game. Brett Chance returns after averaging seven game a season ago. Kyle McClanahan and Adam Allen (University of Florida), Lukas Winegarner (Radford) and Mitch Woods (Applachain State) give the Tars a grand total of six division I transfers this season. Chance is in his third season at Rollins after playing at Canisius.
Tom Klusman has 590 wins and will hit another large milestone this upcoming season. Klusman will become just the fifth active coach in DII with 600 wins. The other four are:

Wake Forest will be playing their third and final exhibition game on Friday evening. The first two victories were a 84-79 win over Brock University and a 88-80 win over Ryerson. The Demon Deacons are picked to finish tenth in the preseason ACC poll. C.J Harris (16.7 ppg) and Travis McKie (16.1 ppg) return for Wake. The top two scorers from a year ago are the only two returning starters. Eight letter winner's from last season have departed. The Deacons were 13-18 a year ago.
