Rollins (7-5 1-3 SSC) is coming off a split of a pair of games in the Holiday hoops Classic in Las Vegas. After a decisive win over Hawaii Hilo Rollins fell 72-70 to the Colorado School of Mines. Rollins is seventh in the SSC putting up 86.1 points per game while they continue to lock down the opposition giving up an SSC second best 72 points per contest. Rollins shoots 47.4 percent from the floor (third in the SSC,) 37.7 percent from the 3-point line (third SSC,) and 72.8 percent at the free throw line (fourth in the conference.) They are eighth in turnover margin (-1.17,) sixth in assist to turnover ratio (1.44) and dish out 18.7 assists per game (fifth in the SSC.) The Tars are fourth in opponent field goal percentage (41.9 percent,) seventh in 3-point defense (33.6 percent) while they lead the league getting 13.7 more rebounds than the opposition per night (43.3-29.6.) Saint Leo (6-5 1-2 SSC) is coning off a 85-66 win over American International. The Lions score 81.3 points per game (10th SSC) while they give up an SSC seventh best 79.2 points per contest. They shoot an SSC worst 44 percent from the field and are also last in the league in opponent field goal percentage (44 percent.) The Lions shoot an SSC fifth best 37 percent from the 3-point line while they are ninth defending the 3-point line (36.2 percent.) They also struggle at the free throw line (66.9 percent which is good for 10th in the SSC.) The Lions get 0.4 more rebounds than the opposition (36.9-36.5) which is also 10th in the conference. The Lions are fourth in turnover margin (0.91) and eighth in assist to turnover ratio (1.21.) They are last in the league in blocked shots (two per game,) last in assists (15.45) and fourth in steals (8.3 per game.)
