Rollins (5-4 1-3 SSC) finally got in the win column in conference play behind a 29 point effort from Jah Nze, 16 points from Omar Figueroa, 11 from from Ryan Renfro, and 10 from Mayson Quartlebaum in a 84-78 win over the University of Tampa on Saturday. Rollins scores an SSC sixth best 87.7 points per night while on the defensive end they are tied for second in the conference surrendering 74 points per night. The Tars shoot 47.7 percent from the field (second in the SSC,) 38 percent from the 3-point line (second in the SSC,) and 72.1 percent at the free throw line (fifth in the SSC.) They also dish out 18.2 assists per game which is sixth in the conference. On defense they are fourth in opponent field goal percentage (42.9 percent,) eighth in guarding the 3-point line (35 percent,) second in rebounding margin at +13.3 (42.8-29.4,) seventh in turnover margin (-0.57,) and sixth in assist to turnover ratio (1.43.) they block an SSC eighth best 3.2 shots per game and steal the ball an SSC sixth best 7.7 times per night. Nze leads the team and is sixth in the SSC putting up 18.4 points per contest while Figueroa is just outside the top 10 scoring 16.8 points per night. Matus Malovec pulls down a team leading 5.7 rebounds per game while Figueroa continues to be the teams most efficient shooter. Figueroa shoots 53 percent from the field (second in the SSC,) leads the SSC shooting at a 51.3 percent clip from the 3-point line while knocking down an SSC third best 3.2 triples per contest while also dishing out 3.2 assists per game, having a 1.7 assist to turnover ratio in a team leading 29.7 minutes per contest. Marshall Klug shoots 84.8 percent at the free throw line which is good for ninth in the league while Renfro blocks an SSC ninth best 1.1 shots per game. There is limited information available on the South Florida Bible Rams. As of November 25th they were 11-1 with the lone loss coming to Southeast Christian after a three point win the previous night. The Rams have played five more games since the calendar has flipped to December.
