Last time out Saint Leo was drubbed by Nova Southeastern 126-74. Jayden Johnson scored 14, Luther Smith added 13, Matt Ansah tallied 12, and Owen Pawlowski netted 11 in the lopsided loss. The Lions struggled shooting the ball (46.8 percent from the field,) 36.4 percent (12-33) from the 3-point line, and 28.6 percent (4-14) at the free throw line. Rollins shot 46.2 percent from the field, 32 percent (8-25) from the 3-point line, and 81 percent (17-21) from the free throw line.
Saint Leo was paced by Hill who stuffed the stat sheet with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. Smith added 13 and Ansah scored 10. The Lions shot 41.3 percent from the field, 25 percent (6-24) from the 3-point line, and 80 percent (16-20) from the free throw line.
