Rollins started the season splitting a pair of games in the SSC/SIAC crossover in Atlanta. They were a 69-60 winner over Clark-Atlanta, before falling 76-72 to host Morehouse. Jeff Merton leads the Tars in the early going at 17 points and six rebounds a game. Sam Philpott has put up a solid 13 a night, while Joey Galvis is scoring nine a game.
The Eagles come in at 2-0 on the season, they defeated Ave Maria and Puerto Rico Mayaguez. The Eagles are led by Skyler Hogan at 17.5 points a game. Shaquan McArthur also scores 17 a contest- while Dillon Graham scores 14 a night. Dalton Barnes is back and puts up 11.5 points per game.
