Rollins hosts Fighting Knights Saturday.

The Rollins Tars coming off there first loss of the season last time out, will take on the undefeated Fighting Knights of Lynn on Saturday. Tip time is set for 4 PM. As always you can catch the game on RollinsSports.com and on 91.5 FM WPRK.
  Rollins (5-1 0-1 SSC) was a 81-69 loser to Embry-Riddle in the team's conference opener on Wednesday night.  Parker Davis scored a career high 20 points for the Tars in the defeat. Daniel Loh also scored in double figures for Rollins-as he tallied 11 points.  The Tars shot 42 percent from the floor- 32 percent (8-25) from the 3-point line- and- 56 percent (5-9) from the free throw line in the defeat.  Rollins had 11 assists and 14 turnovers in the contest.
  Rollins has four players averaging double figure scoring for the season.  Jakobi Bonner leads the way putting up 16.8 points per night- Connor McKim is averaging 14.5 points a contest- Loh is scoring 10.7 per game- and- Hutton Yenor averages 10.3 per game.  As a team the Tars are scoring 80.3 points per contest.  Defensively they are giving up just 69 points per night.  The Tars have out rebound the opponent by more than five boards a contest (38.7-33_ and are averaging more than two more assists a game than the opposition (13-11.) Coach Tom Klusman sits at 698 wins in his career.
  Lynn (5-0 1-0 SSC) comes in on a five game win streak to begin the campaign. The Fighting Knights also upset Florida Atlantic 92-87 in an exhibition game as well. Last time out the Fighting Knights were a 86-70 winner over Palm Beach Atlantic Wednesday.  Brandon Bornelus paced five Lynn players in double figures with 21 points in the victory.  Michael Baez scored 18 points- Rasheed Worrell scored 11 points- Jamal Palmer netted 10- and- Darius Moore added 10 off the bench. Lynn shot 48 percent as a team- 42 percent from the 3-point line- 79 percent from the free throw line- while they won the rebounding battle 31-26.  Lynn had 15 assists and 16 turnovers.
  Bornelus leads the Knights in scoring at 17 points per game- Palmer puts up 14 a night- Moore scores 14 a game as well- while Michael Baez averages 13.8 a game and Worrell scores 10 a game.
As a team the Fighting Knights score 75.8 points per game- while they out rebound the opponent by more than three rebounds per contest.
