Rollins (2-2 0-1 SSC) is coming off a second heartbreaking loss in three games on Saturday as they fell 94-92 at Lynn. Jah Nze had 29 points to lead the Tars, Jackson Gaffney netted 19, Omar Figueroa tallied 13, and Marshall Klug chipped in 11. The Tars shot 48 percent from the field, 52 percent (11-21) from the 3-point line, and 76 percent (19-25) at the free throw line. Rollins averages 85.8 points per game while they give up 78 per contest. They shoot 49.4 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from the 3-point line, and 67.8 percent from the free throw line for the young season. Rollins is +11 (40.3-29.3) on the glass while they turn the ball over 14 times per contest. They also get 5.8 steals and block 2.8 shots per night. Nze leads the team in scoring putting up 19.5 points per game, he is joined in double figures by Figueroa (16 points per night,) Klug (12 points per contest, and Gaffney (11.5 points per game.) Matus Malovec leads the team in rebounding pulling down 5.3 rebounds per night. Malovec, Nze, and Figueroa lead the team dishing out 11 assists for the season as well.
Last season Puerto Rico Bayamon fell to the Tars 83-55. There is very limited information about the 2025-26 season for the Guillitos. We do know that they will play three games this week against Sunshine State Conference opponents. They will play Eckerd on Tuesday and Lynn on Friday in addition to the Tars on Monday.
