Tars Host Lynn In Home Finale Wednesday.

The Rollins Tars (12-11 6-7 SSC) will host the Lynn Fighting Knights (7-15 1-11 SSC) in what is both there home finale and senior night at Warden Arena.  You can catch all the action live at RollinsSports.com and on 91.5 FM WPRK Winter Park.
  The Tars are coming off a solid week.  They posted a pair of convincing wins.  The Tars buried Florida Tech on Wednesday and were a nine point winner over Nova Southeastern Saturday.
  Mitch Woods is the Tars leading scorer and 10th in the SSC averaging 14.4 points a game- Woods is fourth in the conference with two steals a night.  Alex Blessig puts up 10.5 a night and is coming off a career high 23 in the win over Nova Saturday. Adam Allen is also coming off a career high 22 points. He is putting up 9.8 points a contest. Woods had 17 points and a career high nine assists in Saturday's win.  Jeff Dirkin leads the team in rebounding at 6.2 boards a night.
  The Tars have the top defensive team in the conference, as they allow 64.1 a night. On the offensive end they score 68.2 a night.
  Lynn comes in having lost eight straight. The Knights only conference win came against the Tars in Boca Raton a month ago.  Lynn is coming off a 66-60 loss to Tampa the last time out. Fred Landers (17) and Brandon Smith (10) scored in double figures in the loss.
  Aaron Harrison leads the Knights and is fifth in the conference scoring 17.5 a game-  He is third in the league int abounding at 8.8 a night. Landers scores 12.8 a game- and- Kaleb Clyburn puts up 10.1 a contest.
 The Fighting Knights score 69.5 points a game- while they give up 73.4 a contest.
