Tars Travel To Miami Shores Saturday.

The Rollins Tars (13-11 7-7 SSC) will head to Miami Shores to take on the Barry Buccaneers (17-6 7-6 SSC) Saturday night at the Health and Sports Center.  You can catch all the Tars action on the Tars Sports Network at 91.5 FM WPRK Winter Park and Worldwide at RollinsSports.com Tip time is set for 6 PM.
  The Tars are coming off three convincing wins to close out the home portion of the schedule. After wins over Florida Tech and Nova Southeastern, the Tars used a huge second half to avenge a earlier loss to Lynn.  Mitch Woods tied his career high with 26 in the senior night win. Graduate student Adam Allen added 13- and- sophomore Alex Blessig added 13.
  Woods is the Tars leading scorer at 14.9 points a game- He is joined in double figures by Blessig (10.6 a night) and Allen (10 per contest.)
  The Tars have the top scoring defense in the SSC. They only give up 63.5 points a game.  On the offensive end, the Tars average just 68.8 a contest.
  Barry got off to a 9-0 start and are in the heat of the SSC race.  The last time out the Bucs were a 75-72 winner over Nova Southeastern.  A pair of Barry players tallied double-doubles in that one.  Yunio Barrueta lead the way with 20 points and 14 rebounds.   Deric Hill added 15 points to go along with 11 assists.
  Juan Ferrales leads the Bucs at 15.2 points a night- Barrueta scores 14.3 a game- and he is second in the SSC averaging 9.1 rebounds a game.  Hill leads the conference getting 2.8 steals a night.  The Bucs are second in the league on offense scoring 81.3 points a game. They give up 75.3 per contest.
  Barry was a 79-77 winner in the first meeting in Winter Park back on January 25th.
