The surging 24th ranked Rollins Tars head to Lakeland to face an old nemesis when they take on the Florida Southern Moccasins at Jenkins Field House on Wednesday night.  You can catch all the action on the Geico Tars Sports Network on 91.5 FM WPRK Winter Park and worldwide at RollinsSports.com.
The last time out Rollins (16-6 8-3 SSC) hung on for a 78-75 win and a season sweep of the Nova Southeastern Sharks Saturday.
Jeff Merton led the Tars and all scorers with 23 points. He was one of four Rollins players in double figures on the day. Sam Philpott posted a 15 point game- Deion Clark just missed a double-double (12 points and nine rebounds-) while Joey Galvis had a second outstanding game in as many contests against NSU with 11.
Rollins comes into the game fifth in the SSC averaging 82.8 points per night- they are tops in the league shooting 49 percent from the floor on the season.  They are also the best foul shooting team in the conference (79 percent.)
Four Tars come into Wednesday averaging double figures on the season.
