Rollins Faces #14 Florida Southern Wednesday Night.

The Rollins Tars welcome the 14th ranked team in the country when they host the Florida Southern Moccasins at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center Wednesday night. Both teams are coming off tough losses on Saturday. The Tars saw a eight point lead slip away in the waning minutes of a 69-68 loss at Barry- while FSC fell to Nova Southeastern in overtime.
 Rollins (8-5 2-3 SSC) was led by Jakobi Bonner with 16 points- while Connor McKim-and- Hutton Yenor added 14 each. The Tars shot 42 percent from the field- 48 percent (10-21) from the 3-point line- and- 67 percent (8-12) from the free throw line. They won the rebounding battle 38-29. Rollins had 17 assists- and- 17 turnovers in the loss.  The Tars score 74.2 points a game on offense- while they allow 71.5 at the other end.
 Bonner leads the season box score at 16.8 points per game- Dayton Gumm scores 12.5 per game-  Yenor provides 11.1 a game off the Tars bench- and- McKim scores 10 per night. McKim leads the team in assists at 3.1 per game- while Trevor Recio averages a team leading 7.8 rebounds per game.
 The Mocs (12-2 4-2 SSC) are coming off a 111-103 overtime loss to fourth ranked Nova Southeastern at home. Brett Hanson- and- Brandon Carroll led FSC with 20 points in the game- EJ Dambreville netted 15- and- Jack Rauch tallied 13. Hinton also added 10 rebounds- and- five assists to his stat line. The Mocs shot 49 percent from the field- 28 percent (7-25) from the 3-point line- and- 57 percent (12-21) from the free throw line. They had 26 assists- and- 10 turnovers as a team in the contest.  Southern averages 92.9 a game on the offensive end- but defensively they allow 82 points per game.
 Hanson is pouring in 21.6 points per game to pace the Moccasins- Hinton scores 15.7 per night- Rauch scores 13.9 per game- Jair Rodgers nets 12.8 a game- and- Carroll chips in 11 per night. Hanson leads the team in assists at 5.6 per game- while Hinton gets 10.7 rebounds per game.
