The Rollins College Tars (9-3) winners of two straight welcome the Eckerd College Tritons (7-4) to Warden Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Tars come into the contest 2-0 in the Sunshine State Conference and were a 76-64 winner over Palm Beach Atlantic on Wednesday. The Tritons are 1-2 in the SSC and are coming off a 76-61 loss to Florida Southern on Wednesday.
The Tars come into the contest averaging 70 points per game and giving up 64.8 points a contest. Myk Brown who recorded his 1,00th point in his Rollins career on Wednesday is one of a pair of Tars averaging 12.8 points a night. Jeremy Sharpe also averages 12.8 per game. Dave Diakite comes into Saturday averaging 10.9 points a contest. Chris Malcolm averages 10.5 points and 6.7 rebounds a game. Malcolm should play after missing Wednesday night's game with a hamstring injury. Ian Scott has also been solid for the Tars as he comes in averaging 4.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
The Tritons are led by a trio of players averaging double figures. Lance Kearse paces EC with 18.5 points a contest. Wayne Sears Jr. adds 13 a night and Darriend Mack puts in 12.3 points and 5.2 rebounds a game.
