Red Hot Tars Travel To Miami Shores Wednesday.

The 17th ranked Rollins College Tars (13-2 5-0 SSC) ride a five game win streak to Miami Shores,Fla. where they will battle Barry Wednesday evening.
  The Tars are the only undefeated team left in the Sunshine State Conference. They are coming off a pair of wins a week ago and a 3-0 home stand.  Adam Allen led a 3-point barrage Saturday in a 80-63 win over a feisty Lynn squad. Mitch Woods and Kyle McClanahan added 13 points each. Dave Diakite also scored 13. Diakite had 25 and 14 rebounds (both career highs last Wednesday) and was the SSC Player of the Week.  Diakite leads the Tars in scoring at 15.1 points a game and grabs 6.1 rebounds a night. McClanahan puts up 14.1 a contest and Allen tallies 10.5 a game off the Tars bench.  The Tars are third in the conference in scoring at 75.5 a game and are leading the conference giving up just 62.9 points a contest.  The Tars have shot the ball extremely well. They lead the conference in both field goal percentage (49 percent) and 3-point percentage (40 percent.) Adam Allen is third in the nation in Division II shooting 48.5 percent from the 3-point line.
  Barry comes in having lost four in a row in the conference and the Buccaneers are tied for eighth at 1-4 in the league.  The last time out was a 75-63 loss to Eckerd at the McArthur Center on Saturday.  Justin McCoy and Chad Renfro had 14 points each to pace Barry in the loss, Aaron Martin had 13 and grabbed eight boards.
  Barry is eight in the conference scoring 71.2 points a game while they are allowing 71.1 which is good for sixth in the league.  Barry is shooting 38 percent as a team and are allowing teams to shoot just 31 percent from the 3-point line.  Four Barry players average double figures on the year.  McCoy leads the way at 14.9 a game, Martin posts 11.4, Renfro 11.2 and Bryan Van Cott puts up 10.9 a game.
