Tars Head To Leo For Stiff Road Test Friday.

The Rollins College Tars (1-3) head to the Saint Leo Tournament where they will face a stiff road test against 18th ranked South Carolina Aiken at 5 PM on Friday night.
The Tars are coming off a 66-64 home overtime loss to Warner on Tuesday evening. The loss was the second straight to Warner for the Tars.
Adam Allen and Alex  Blessig each scored 14 points for the Tars in the defeat. The game for Blessig was his best in his brief Tar career. He added nine rebounds. Chris Uhle nearly missed a double-double, as he scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds. The Tars struggled shooting the ball, as they were 25 of 68 from the field, 9 of 37 from the 3-point line, and just five of 11 at the foul line.
Woods and Allen lead the Tars box score on the season. The transfers from Appalachian State and Florida respectively average 11 points a contest. Uhle is putting up nine points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists a night. Jeff Dirkin adds 7.5 points a game, to go with a team high nine blocks. The Tars have 25 blocks through four games (better than six a contest.) The Tars 1-3 start is it's worst since the 1990-91 season. Rollins ended that campaign with a 11-18 record.
USC Aiken comes in with a 4-1 record on the season. The Panthers lone loss was to Puerto Rico Bayamon. The Panthers have since run off four straight wins. The Panthers faced a pair of DI opponents in the exhibition season. They pushed Ole Miss to overtime before falling 75.70. Then they were a 84-72 loser to the Gamecocks of South Carolina.
Five players scored in double figures for the Pacers in a rout of Tuskegee on November 15th. Ronald Zimmerman led the way with 19 points in the 93-67 rout. Paul Larsen added 13,  DeVontae Wright and Kinley Branch chipped in 11 each.
A pair of Pacers lead them in scoring. Zimmerman puts up 16 a night, while Larsen adds 13.4 a game.  Branch posts nine a game. The Pacers average 90 points a contest, while they allow just 55.6
The line: Aiken by 12
