Tars-Bucs Battle In SSC Showdown Saturday.

The Rollins Tars (8-8 2-4 SSC) fresh off a non conference win over Palm Beach Atlantic and a 1-2 road swing take on the Buccaneers of Barry Saturday afternoon at Warden Arena.  The Bucs are coming off a 77-55 thrashing of Lynn on Wednesday night.   Mitch Woods scored 20 points- Chris Uhle had a solid game with 13 points and nine rebounds- and Alex Blessig bounced back from a tough outing with 18 points-eight assists- and seven rebounds in the win over PBA Wednesday night.
  Woods is the top point man for the Tars at 13.3 points a game and is the only player on the team who averages double figures.  Blessig nets 9.8 points a night- and Adam Allen scores 8.7 a game.
  The Tars are seventh in the nation on defense. Tom Klusman's zone only allows opponents to score 62 points a night.  On the other end, the Tars are ninth in the conference at 66.9 per game.
  The Bucs (12-3 3-3 SSC) are 3-3 in the last six games after a 9-0 start.  Unio Barrueta led the way with 23 points in the thrashing of Lynn in the last game.  Juan Ferrales was also in double figures with 16 in the victory.
  Ferrales is Barry's top scorer at 16.6 points a game.  Adrian Gonzalez puts up 12.7 points a night to go along with 8.4 rebounds- Deric Hill paces the Bucs in assists at seven a game.  The Bucs high powered offense is putting up 82.3 points a night.  On the other end the Bucs defense gives up 73.7 points a night.
