The Rollins Tars wrap up a three game road swing and look to snap a three game losing streak when they head to West Palm Beach to take on Palm Beach Atlantic Wednesday at Rubin Arena. The Tars come in with a record of 7-8 and 2-4 in the Sunshine State Conference, while the Sailfish enter the game at 7-11 on the year.
The Tars are coming off a 54-46 loss to Nova Southeastern at the "Shark Tank." Rollins did not have a field goal in the last 9:45 of the opening half in the loss. Mitch Woods was the lone Tar in double figures on Saturday with 14 points. Woods leads the Tars in scoring on the season at 12.9 points a game. He also averages three assists and two steals per contest. Alex Blessig comes into the contest averaging 9.3 points- 4.2 rebounds- and 3.1 assists a night. Adam Allen averages 8.9 a game.
On the defensive end the Tars are seventh nationally giving up 61.8 points a game. The Tars are near the bottom of the conference on offense, scoring just 66.2 points a game.
The Sailfish are meeting the Tars for the second time this season. Rollins was a 83-61 winner in the first matchup. PBA is coming off a 87-64 win over Trinity College on Saturday. Ian Sitz and Evan Graham had 13 apiece in the victory. Graham leads PBA with 12.9 points and 6.9 rebounds a game on the season. Clayton Williams puts up 10.5 a night- Marcus Hardy is scoring 9.9 a contest. The Sailfish are scoring 72.4 points a game- while they give up 74.5 a night.
