The Rollins College Tars (22-6 13-3 SSC) led by Seniors Nick Wolf, Alex Castillo, Nikola Baran and Matt Robertson on Senior day rolled to a 93-68 win over Lynn at Warden Arena Saturday. The Tars won the conference title outright for the first time since the 2005-06 season. The Tars won a share of the title a year ago.
Nick Wolf continued his superb season scoring 23 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists. Matt Robertson had 16 points while Alex Castillo netted 14. Nikola Baran hit a pair of threes and scored 8. Myk Brown also scored in double figures with 11. The Tars shot 70 percent from the field (30-43) and went 25-33 at the free throw line. The Tars who came into the game 4 of 37 from three in the last two losses, went 5-11 from the three point line. The Tars had 22 assists and 13 turnovers.
Lynn fell to 7-19 overall and 5-11 in the SSC. They were led by Rodney Kennedy with 15 points. He was one of four players in double figures for the Fighting Knights. Josh Garcia added 13 while Chris Watson and Chris Hall netted 11 each. Lynn shot 40 percent from the field and were out rebounded 27-19. The Knights had 12 assists and 18 turnovers.
The Tars jumped out to a 26-11 lead in the first eleven minutes and never looked back. The Tars would get a three from Nikola Baran right before the half that would make it 52-28 Tars at the break. Rollins would lead by as many as 35 in the second half and roll to the 93-68 win.
The defending champion Tars will host 8th seeded Barry Wednesday night in the opening round of the SSC tournament. Here are the pairings for the tournament beginning Wednesday:

(7) Nova Southeastern at (2) Florida Southern
(6) Lynn at (3) Eckerd
The Semifinals and finals will be held at Florida Tech Saturday and Sunday.
