The Rollins Tars coming off a 88-65 loss to Florida Tech last time out travel to Boca Raton to take on the Lynn Fighting Knights. The Tars come into Saturday 9-9 overall and 3-7 in the SSC. Hutton Yenor scored a game high 16 points to lead the Tars in a disappointing loss to Florida Tech that followed a big win over nationally ranked Florida Southern last Saturday. Connor McKim scored 13 points- grabbed six rebounds- dished out six assists- and- had four steals in the defeat. Jakobi Bonner chipped in 11. The Panthers were 18 of 43 from the 3-point line in the contest. Bonner leads Rollins in scoring at 14.9 points per game- he also grabs 4.1 rebounds a contest. McKim scores 13.4 a night and shoots 86 percent at the free throw line. Yenor has been the spark plug off the bench this season and puts up 11.4 per contest. Trevor Recio (4.9-) and- Daniel Loh (4.8) lead the Tars on the glass this season. Rollins is sixth on offense where they score 74.9 per game- while on the defensive end they give up 73.8 per night.
Lynn comes in winners of five of the last six. The only loss was a two point loss to fifth ranked Nova Southeastern. The last time out the Fighting Knights edged Barry 72-71 on Wednesday. Michael Baez led the way with 24 points and nine rebounds- while Jamal Palmer had 18. Palmer hit the game winner at the buzzer. Baez and Palmer pace the Fighting Knights as they each score 15.8 per night. Baez grabs 5.1 rebounds a night as well. Brandon Bornelus scores 14.3 a game- and- Darius Moore chips in 13.2 per contest. Lynn is averaging 78.3 per game- while they give up 70 a night.
