Rollins-Southern Renew Rivalry Saturday.

On paper Saturday's game between Rollins and Florida Southern is a mismatch. But as they say in rivalry games you can throw the records out the window. The records are Rollins at 8-8 and 2-6 in the SSC- while the 22nd ranked Mocs are 13-3 and 6-2 in the SSC. Tip time from Warden Arena is set for 4 PM.   The Tars come in on a four game losing slide. They were a 66-62 loser to Eckerd last time out- a week ago. Connor McKim (13-) Jakobi Bonner (13-) and- Eric Castaneda (12) led the Tars in the loss. The Tars shot 47 percent from the field- and- went 8 of 22 from the 3-point line. Bonner leads the season box score at 15.2 per game- he also grabs more than four rebounds a contest. McKim is netting 13.3 per contest- and- is connecting on 87 percent of his free throws. Hutton Yenor also is averaging in double figures at 10.7 per night. The Tars are in the middle of the pack both offensively (75.1 ppg-) and- defensively (73.2 per contest.)
 The Mocs are tied for second in the SSC. They were a 82-69 winner over Eckerd last time out- and- have won four straight. Ben Marello led the way with 27 points in that one- Brett Hanson scored 17 and grabbed seven rebounds- while Slinky Jones had 13. Johnathan Lawton leads the Mocs in scoring at 21.3 points per game- Hanson scores 16.8 a night and is the leading rebounder at 7.7 per contest. Jones chips in 10.8 points- and- 6.8 rebounds per night. The Mocs score 80 a game- while they give up 76.2 per night.
