Upstart Tars Host Florida Tech Wednesday.

The Rollins College Tars- fresh off a big 83-69 win over then 22nd ranked Florida Southern Saturday take on the Panthers of Florida Tech Wednesday. As always you can catch the game on 91.5 FM WPRK and on RollinsSports.com
Rollins (9-8 3-6 SSC) snapped a four game losing slide in a big win Saturday with a convincing 83-69 win over the Mocs. Connor McKim had 17 points to lead the Tars- to go along with six assists- Jakobi Bonner and Hutton Yenor each tallied 15- while Daniel Loh and Eric Castaneda scored 11 each. Bonner leads the season box score at 15.2 per contest- McKim scores 13.5 a game and also leads the team in assists with 49 on the season. Yenor is the spark off of the Tars bench as he puts up 11 per night. Loh is the teams leading rebounder at 5.1 per night. Rollins is seventh in the conference in scoring at 75.5 points per night- while defensively they are fourth in the conference giving up 73 points per game.
 FIT (7-10 1-8 SSC) has dropped five straight. The Panthers were a 71-67 loser to Palm Beach Atlantic last time out. Season Russell had a double-double to lead the way with 21 points and 10 rebounds- while Derek Murphy had one of his own (10 points and 11 rebounds.)  Antonio Pefanis netted 16.  Murphy leads the season box score scoring 21.7 points per night- Pefanis scores 14 a game- and- RJ Coil nearly averages a double-double scoring 11.2 points- and- grabbing a team leading 9.4 rebounds per night. He is also second in the SSC in blocked shots at 1.5 per game. The Panthers score 73.5 per game- while they give up 77.5 per contest.
