Rollins Win Streak Snapped At Five.

The Rollins Tars saw a five game win streak stopped by the Eagles of Embry-Riddle 97-78 at Warden Arena inside the Alfond Sports Center Wednesday.  With the win the Eagles improve to 13-7 on the season. The Tars first loss in the last six games drops them to 13-9 overall and 7-5 in the SSC.
  Skyler Hogan was a perfect 7 of 7 from the 3-point line on the way to a game high 29 points in this one- Luka Majstorovic added 18- Dillon Graham netted 17- and- Shaquan McArthur chipped in 10. The hot shooting Eagles shot 58 percent from the field- and- 55 percent (12-22) from the 3-point line.  The Eagles struggled at the free throw line where they shot 54 percent (13-24.)  The Eagles won the rebounding battle 41-34. They had 23 assists and 17 turnovers.
  The Tars really struggled offensively in this one. They shot 40 percent from the field- went 7-30 (23 percent) from the 3-point line- and shot 75 percent (21-28) from the free throw line.
  Jakobi Bonner led the Tars with a career high 20 points- Joey Galvis scored 12- and- Nils Lehmann added 11. The Tars had 12 assists and 17 turnovers as a team.
  The Tars scored five of the game's first seven points before a 10-3 Eagles run gave them a 12-8 lead.  The game would stay tight until ERAU went on a 8-0 run to open up a nine point lead (31-22) halfway thru the opening half. The Eagles maintained that lead the rest of the first half and ERAU would lead by 11 (42-31) at the intermission.
  The Tars fell even further behind as the Eagles scored the first seven points of the second half to go up 18 (49-31.)  The Eagles would lead by as many as 29 and the Tars never really had an answer on this night.
