Rollins Travels To Daytona Wednesday.

The Rollins Tars head to Daytona Beach to take on the Eagles of Embry-Riddle on Wednesday night. Embry-Riddle comes in with a record of 9-11 overall and 3-9 in the SSC. Meanwhile Rollins comes in winners of six straight, leading the SSC at 14-7 and 10-3 in the conference. You can catch all the action on RollinsSports.com
  Last time out the Tars were a 64-63 winner over Lynn at home. Reigning SSC Player of The Week Jeff Merton drained his second game winning 3-pointer in as many weeks in the victory. Merton was the only Rollins player in double figures in this one. The Tars come into the contest averaging 85.3 points per game- while they shoot 51 percent as a team. 39 percent from the 3-point line.  They give up 81.3 points per contest. Sam Philpott leads the team in scoring at 20.4 points per game. Merton averages 15.2 per contest- while Eric Castenada (11.5 ppg-) Connor McKim (11.2 per game-) and- Deion Clark (11 per game) also average double figures. Castenada leads the team in rebounding at 4.9 per night- while McKim dishes out 3.8 assists per game.
  ERAU is coming off a 75-60 loss to Saint Leo on Wednesday night. Nashad Mackey led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles. Rudy-Bibb Boyd scored 12- and- Joshua Hawkins added 10 for ERAU in a losing effort. The Eagles shot 31 percent from the field- 25 percent (7-28) from the 3-point line- and- 69 percent (9-13) at the free throw line.  Each team had 44 rebounds. The Eagles had nine assists and eight turnovers as a team.
  ERAU averages 83.6 points per game- while they give up 82.8 per night. Individually the Eagles have five players who average double figures. Ognjen Miljkovic led the way with 17.9 points per night- Bibb-Boyd puts up 17.4 a game- Mackey scores 15.8 per game- Joshua Hawkins puts up 12.7 per night- and- Luka Majstorovic scores 10.2 per contest. Mackey averages a team leading 12 rebounds a night- and- Miljkovic averages 3.6 assists a game.
