Struggling Tars Look To Get On Track Saturday against Saint Leo.

The Rollins Tars losers of three in a row and seven of the last eight host the Saint Leo Lions at Warden Arena Saturday. Rollins comes into the contest 9-11 overall and 3-9 in the SSC.  Saint Leo comes into the contest 9-11 overall and 6-6 in the SSC.
  Rollins won the first meeting between the two teams 80-67 back in December. Hutton Yenor led Rollins with 17 points in that game- Jakobi Bonner scored 16- Connor McKim added 14- and- Trevor Recio added 11. Rollins shot 57 percent in that contest- 63 percent (10-16) from the 3-point line- and- 78 percent (14-18) at the free throw line. Rollins won the rebounding battle 27-23. They had 17 assists and 16 turnovers in the game.
 The Tars were a 79-73 loser to Embry-Riddle at the ICI Center Wednesday night. Yenor scored a career high 22 points in the contest- while McKim added 15. The Tars shot 46 percent as a team- 36 percent from the 3-point line- and- 92 percent at the free throw line. They had 14 assists and eight turnovers in the contest.
 The Tars come in averaging 75 points per game- while they give up 71.3 per contest. Bonner leads the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game- McKim puts up 13.3 per night- and- Yenor has had the hot hand of late averaging 12.4 per contest.
  The Lions are coming off a 79-74 loss at home to Eckerd Wednesday. Isaiah Hill paced the Lions with 15- Kyran McClure added 14- Gintaras Bartaskas scored 13- Justin Searcy netted 12- and- Tyler Carter posted 11. They shot 45 percent as a team- 32 percent from the 3-point line- and- 59 percent (10-17) from the free throw line.
 In the loss to Rollins in December Hill had 14- Searcy scored 13- Duarte added 12- and- McClure chipped in 11. The Lions shot 50 percent from the field- 31 percent from the 3-point line- and- made all eight free throw attempts in the losing effort. They average 73.9 per game as a team- while they allow 75 per night. McClure leads the team in scoring at 16.9 per game- Searcy scores 11.9 per night- and- Hill tallies 10.2 per contest.
