Tars Look to get back on track Wednesday.

The Rollins College Tars 9-4 (1-1 SSC) look to get back on track when they face Barry 3-7 (0-2 SSC) at Warden Arena Wednesday. The Tars will look to avoid losing three straight games for the first time since the 2007-08 campaign. They are coming off a 86-80 loss at Tampa on Sunday afternoon. The Tars preceded that loss with a loss to Winston Salem State in the finals of the Winter Park Rotary Tangerine Tournament. Rollins come into Wednesday averaging 79.8 points per contest while giving up 72.2.  The Tars have been uncharacteristically inefficient from three point land shooting just 31.6%. Foul shooting has been a strong point for the Tars as they have connected on 76% from the charity stripe on the season.
Rollins is led by a trio of players who are having solid seasons. Nick Wolf, a preseason candidate for DII Player of the Year has been "rock solid". The Senior from Cincinnati has scored 19.8 points and pulled down 10.1 rebounds per contest. Matt Robertson has been very good as well. The Alabama native has averaged 15.8 points per contest. Myk Brown rounds out the Tars trio. Brown has averaged 14.9 PPG and is coming off a solid 24 point performance in the loss at Tampa Sunday. Brown is one of the best in the conference at getting to the foul line. The Gainesville native was shooting at 88% on the season before a 11-15 outing on Sunday.
Barry 3-7 (0-2 SSC) has struggled this season. The Buccaneers of course are very familiar with the Tars. These teams met four times a year ago with the Tars winning 3. The last two Rollins wins were in the finals of the SSC Tournament and then in the semifinals of the South regional. Willie Whitfield leads Barry at 16.1 points per contest. Evan White is netting 12.4 points per game while Zack Trapp averages 11.6 points per ball game. Barry averaged 69.2 points per game as a team and allows 67.2. The Bucs are 34.1 % from distance while struggling at the foul line at just 69%. Barry is coming off a 66-53 loss to Eckerd over the weekend.
The line: Rollins by 10
