The Rollins College Tars (9-3) play the first game of 2011 when they travel to the Bob Martinez Center to battle the Tampa Spartans (11-0).
Rollins is coming off a tough loss to Winstom Salem State in the final of the 2010 Winter Park Rotary Tangerine Tournament. The Tars continue to be led by the trio of Nick Wolf, Myk Brown and Matt Robertson. Senior Nikola Baran is coming off a season high 17 points in the loss vs the Rams.
Tampa (11-0) is led by three players in double figures. Rashaad Callaway (17.9 ppg), Anthony Griffis (15.3) and Callum Townsend (10.4 ppg) lead the Spartans. The Spartans average 77.4 ppg and are allowing 63.2. The Spartans last contest was a 88-45 win over Fontbonne. Tampa and the Tars each come into Saturday 1-0 in the SSC.
