Rollins Eases Past Lynn At Home.

The Rollins Tars got a double-double from Brooks Cluxton as four Tars in double figures as they eased past Lynn 89-71 at Warden Arena. With the win Rollins improves to 13-12 and 7-10 in the SSC. After the defeat Lynn falls to 10-13 and 6-11 in the SSC.
 Jakobi Bonner led the Tars with 24 points- Dayton Gumm netted 18- Cluxton had a monster night scoring 16 points- and- grabbing 16 rebounds- while Trevor Recio added 10. Rollins shot 56 percent as a team- 41 percent (9-22) from the 3-point line- and- shot at a 86 percent clip (12-14) from the free throw line. Rollins won the rebounding battle 38-30. They had 17 assists- and- nine turnovers in the contest.
 Lynn also had four players in double figures led by Jordan Allen with 17- he also added nine rebounds. Christian Peevy scored 15- while both Cameron Gaines- and- Brandon Bornelius netted 12. The Fighting Knights shot shot 40 percent from the field- 29 percent (9-31) from the 3-point line- and- 83 percent (10-12) from the free throw line. They had 16 assists- and- nine turnovers in the contest.
 Rollins jumped out to a 15-8 lead in the early going. The Tars would stretch the lead to 14 (25-11) just over halfway thru the opening half. The Tars would hold a 40-22 lead as the teams would head to there respective locker rooms.
 Connor McKim stretched the lead to 21 for the Tars to open the second half but the Fighting Knights would not go quietly. The Fighting Knights were within 14 (57-43) when the Tars got 3-pointer's from Bonner and Recio to remove all doubt. Rollins would ease to victory the rest of the way.
