Rollins Faces Litmus Test Wednesday.

The Rollins Tars fresh off a tough 65-62 win over Saint Leo on Saturday night will head to Lakeland to battle #6 Florida Southern inside Jenkins Field House. The Tars come into the contest with a record of 12-10 and a 6-8 mark in the SSC. The Moccasins come in with a record of 21-2 and 13-2 in the SSC.
 Rollins is currently seventh in the SSC Standings. They are paced by Jakobi Bonner with 17.3 points per game- Hutton Yenor nets 12.8 points per contest- while Connor Mckim is scoring 10.9 points per night- to go along with a team leading 3.4 assists per contest. Dayton Gumm rounds out the double digit scorers at 10.7 per night. Trevor Recio is the top rebounder on the team grabbing 7.8 caroms per night. The Tars are averaging 76.4 per game on the offensive end- while they are second on defense giving up 74.6 per night.
 The Mocs are putting up the third most points in the conference at 93.3 a game while allow 82.8 a night. Brett Hanson is the Mocs top scorer and leads the SSC at 22.4 per night. He has scored in double figures every game this season- including a season high 42 points versus Lindenwood. Jak Rauch nets 15.3 per night- while Jalyn Hinton nearly averages a double-double. He is scoring 14.5 per game- and- is leading the SSC in rebounding at 9.3 per night. Hinton is the top shot blocker in the country blocking 3.5 shots per contest. EJ Dambreville (12.5 ppg-) and- Jair Rodgers (12.1 ppg) round out the high octane Mocs offense.
 In the first meeting between the two teams the Mocs escaped Winter Park with a narrow 85-83 win. Yenor scored 28 in that game- and- Bonner added 17 in a losing effort. On the other side the Mocs were led in that contest by 20 points from Rodgers- and- 19 points plus nine rebounds in the game from Brett Hanson.
